Mandatory reporting of Preventable Adverse Events occurring at Texas health care facilities, including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, will begin January 1, 2015.  This comes following amendments to the Texas Health and Safety Code during the 81st Legislative Session that require both reporting by healthcare facilities to the Department of State Health Services and that the Department shall post PAE data on its public website.

TxHSN PAE Users Training 3                                                                                                                  The first posting of your Preventable Adverse Events on the internet for public access will be December 1, 2015.  The facility comment deadline for this report is October 30, 2015.

This TxHSN PAE Users Training 3 webinar includes review of your Healthcare Safety Reports, submitting comments, public reports, printing event records, updated documents, and other pertinent topics.
