BCCS Med-IT Information

The MED-IT data collection and billing system is web-based and collects all required information for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports. The system also generates financial reports (billing status) and has built in reminder features. The Med-IT system is available for Texas, Breast and Cervical Cancer Services (BCCS) program contractors.

Med-IT User Request Form

• Med-IT User Request Form (70 KB, PDF)
  BCCS contracted agency staff should submit the Med-IT User Request Form for a Med-IT username and password.
• Instructions:
  1. The form must be completed and dated by the BCCS Program Coordinator.
  2. Enter contact information and Med-IT user roles requested (i.e. Data Entry, Billing, Supervisor)
  NOTE: "Supervisor" rights are required to run data reports.
  3. Send completed form(s) to the Med-IThelpdesk@dshs.state.tx.us. Allow 2-3 days for help desk response.
  If no response is received, please send a status inquiry to Med-IThelpdesk@dshs.state.tx.us.
