Mission of the Clearinghouse Program: To provide an internet marketplace where primary care practitioners (physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses) may seek collaborative practice opportunities in Texas. Job opportunities for other health care professions are also included. The HPRC Clearinghouse was created by the 74th Texas Legislature to increase the number of collaborative primary care practices in Texas. Primary Care Practitioners who are eligible for the Clearinghouse:
Physicians (M.D. or D.O.) with an unrestricted, active Texas license in the following specialty areas
- Family Practice
- General practice
- General pediatrics
- General internal medicine
- Obstetrics/gynecology
Nurse Practitioners with an unrestricted, active license as a registered nurse and certification in advanced practice nursing in the following specialty areas:
- Women's health
- Pediatrics
- Family health
- School health
- Adult health
Physician Assistants with an unrestricted, active license in the following specialty areas:
- Family Medicine
- General medicine
- General pediatrics
- General internal medicine
