Each year, the Texas Diabetes Council stocks free diabetes education materials available by request through the Texas Department of State Health Services warehouse.
In order to continue this valuable service, please order quantities that you know you will be using in one-on-one patient education or for your own learning purposes. The Texas Diabetes Council wants everyone who can benefit from these materials to receive copies; however, many, such as "Taking Charge of Your Health," should not be distributed in large quantities at health fairs and other events targeting the general public. Simple, less expensive brochures, such as "Could You Have Diabetes?" are more suitable for general diabetes awareness.
Use the descriptions below to determine which piece is best suited for your educational purpose, and order as needed.
To our web site visitors from outside of Texas: Single copies of the Texas Diabetes Council's publications that are not available for download from this page are available upon request. Phone 512-458-7490 for more information.
