Texas Jurisprudence Exam
The licensee must successfully complete the Texas Jurisprudence Exam every two years for renewal. Proof of successfully completing the exam must be retained by the licensee as required as stated in the board rules. One hour of continuing education credit will be granted for successful completion of the Texas Jurisprudence Exam. The Jurisprudence exam is a no-fail assessment designed to show that the applicant is familiar with board rules. It will be available on-line through the board website and can be taken at any location with web access for a $35 fee.
2 Year Renewal - If postmarked by license expiration date $96.00.
2 Year Renewal - If postmarked 1 to 90 days late $118.50
2 Year Renewal - If postmarked 91 days to less than one year late $141.00
Licensed Dietitians must now renew online through our new system.
NOTICE TO ALL ONLINE SYSTEM USERS. EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 6, 2013, AT 12 NOON THE FOLLOWING SERVICES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE WEEKEND:
- VersaOnline will not be available for online license application or license renewal.
- The Live Online Search Verification function to verify and print current licenses will not be available.
