The EMS Compliance Central Team receives all complaints for Texas that involve EMS issues and violations of the EMS Act Chapter 773 of the Health and Safety Code, and EMS Rules Chapter 157 of the Texas Administrative Code. Read Current Disciplinary Actions.

The EMS Compliance Central Team coordinates all of the EMS investigations for the state. All complaints will be investigated by the EMS field staff. Once an investigation is complete, it is presented to the Enforcement Review Committee for the appropriate disciplinary action.
We are responsible for performing all of the criminal history background evaluations. All background investigations are conducted according to the Occupations Code Chapter 53. Once these background investigations are completed they are presented to the Review Committee for the appropriate disciplinary action.
