Texas EMS Magazine is a bimonthly publication produced by the Texas Department of State Health Services, Office of EMS/Trauma Systems Coordination. As the point of contact with the agency that regulates Texas EMS, the magazine delivers state and national EMS issues and gives answers to emergency medical services professionals serving in every capacity across Texas.

Regular articles in the magazine include local and regional news, frequently asked questions about EMS certification and education, personal experiences of EMS personnel and providers, injury prevention, news briefs, obituaries EMS personnel, legislative updates and Texas EMS Conference information. Always scouting for new ideas, we welcome your suggestions for CE articles and for local and regional news about emergency medical providers.
Texas EMS Magazine places meeting and class notices, job opening notices and for-sale advertisements in each issue. To place an advertisement or notice, call (512) 834-6700 or fax the information to (512) 834-6736, attention: Texas EMS Magazine. Items are run at no charge. Meeting and class notices run until just prior to the meeting. Classified ads run for two issues unless we are notified to cancel them. Items for the Calendar section must be received four (4) weeks in advance of the magazine's date. (Example: Items for the January/February Texas EMS Magazine must be received by December 1st.)
Subscriptions for Texas EMS Magazine are $25 for two years or $45 for four years. Fill out a Subscription Form. Make check or money order to Texas Department of Health and send name and address to:
