Mission Statement
The mission of the Food and Drug Licensing Group is to protect the public's health and safety by effectively and efficiently supporting the Health Care Quality Section and the Environmental and Consumer Safety Section in their regulatory activities. This support is accomplished through the timely issuance of licenses, permits and certificates, and the collection of the appropriate fees. The Regulatory Licensing Unit works closely with these two sections to achieve compliance through education and enforcement actions using a fair process, which balances the licensees' due process rights with our regulatory mandate. The Regulatory Licensing Unit strives to provide prompt, courteous service to all of its internal and external customers.
