There were no reports of culture confirmed influenza in the state for week 42. Currently, there has been only one culture confirmed case of influenza (A) this season. Several counties report positive rapid flu tests for both A and B. HSR 11 reports numerous positive rapid flu tests in several counties throughout the region and attempts are underway to obtain specimens for isolation at the DSHS lab.
