Bite Prevention Week: Materials
Did you know that animal bites, a major public health problem in children is preventable? In response to this concern, the Texas Department of State Health Services has prepared materials to aid animal control and animal shelter employees, veterinarians and their technicians, obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and others who want to promote May 19–25, 2013, as Bite Prevention Week in their communities. Some of the materials, such as the bookmarks, can be customized with your agency's logo.
