Annual TVFC In-Service
This conference will highlight the importance of immunization. Dr. Andrew Kroger, from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, will be the guest speaker. Topics will include: TVFC updates, addressing parental vaccine concerns, disease reporting, ImmTrac, Texas Health Steps, influenza school-based clinics, rabies prevention, and others.

We will be providing updates on the TVFC program to 220 TVFC Hidalgo County providers. Topics will include childhood/adolescent immunizations, vaccination techniques, ImmTrac, surveillance of communicable diseases, zoonosis, and Texas HealthSteps. Guest speaker will be Ms. Donna Weaver, CDC Nurse Educator.

Bi-National Immunization Inservice
Partnering with PAHO. We will be educating and training the promotoras on the importance of the child immunization schedule, of having a clear understanding of Mexico's immunization schedule, to educate promotoras on vaccine-preventable diseases, and to educate promotoras on the importance of keeping children up to date on immunizations.
