Since 1994, National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) has served as a call to action for parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure infants are fully immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases.  During 2009, hundreds of communities across the United States will join people all over the Western Hemisphere and Europe to observe:

• National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW)
• Vaccination Week in the Americas (VWA)
  
• European Immunization Week

In Texas, the 2009 NIIW/VWA the theme is Timeliness. The tag line in Texas for NIIW is  Every Vaccine Counts.  Help us promote this tag line in your website and emails from April 1st thru May 22nd.
