What Is ASKITWeb?
ASKITWeb is the Internet-based system that providers use to submit electronic client applications, claims, and status updates to the Kidney Health Care (KHC) Program.
What is ASKITWeb Training?
ASKITWeb training is a 1-day interactive session that teaches participants how to enter, save, and navigate through the ASKITWeb system.
Who should take this training?
The ASKITWeb Training is for providers who have successfully completed the KHC 101 training, and would like to submit their facility’s client applications, claims, and status online.
Completion of ASKITWeb Training is required to receive access to the ASKITWeb system. Once training is completed and online access is granted, KHC requires all applications, travel claims, and client status updates to be submitted using ASKITWeb.
Are CEUs available?
KHC will grant CEUs to social workers who successfully complete the training.
Are there any prerequisites?
Kidney Health Care 101 is a prerequisite of ASKITWeb Training. Please visit the Kidney Health Care 101 training page for more information on this self-paced online course.
Is there a fee?
Kidney Health Care offers this training free of charge. Training classes are held in Austin, Texas. The attendee is responsible for transportation, food, and lodging costs.
When can I attend training?
If you would like to register for an ASKITWeb training session, log into TRAINTexas and search for the course by name: “KHC ASKIWeb Training” or by course number: 1025631. Submit a registration request for the session you wish to attend. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email from TRAINTexas. It is very important that you have selected to receive emails from TRAINTexas; otherwise you will not receive confirmation or cancellation notices. Once you log into TRAINTexas, you will find the checkbox to agree to receive email from ASKITWeb by clicking the “My Account” link in the “My Learning Record” menu located on the right side of the screen. ASKITWeb training sessions are conducted at the Department of State Health Services main complex located at 1100 West 49th Street, Austin, TX. If you are unable to travel to Austin, please send an email to ASKITWeb to see if alternative training is available. updated 4/19/11
