Unless exempt from the licensure requirements, a person may not act as a massage therapist, massage school, massage therapy instructor, or massage establishment without being licensed by DSHS.
Unless exempt, a person may not represent himself or herself as a massage therapist unless the person holds a license issued by DSHS.
