Training

Based on your feedback, the decision was made to use different approaches to disseminate training to the various audiences. LMHA training will be provided through web-based training modules and a series of teleconference calls. Two separate training modules (one relating to the rule and one specific to use of the planning template) will be posted on the web later this month, so that LMHA staff can access the training at any time, from any location. To provide an interactive forum for questions and discussion from LMHAs, the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will also schedule a series of conference calls.

Meeting: February 19

There is a meeting scheduled on February 19 with representatives from the negotiated rulemaking committee to discuss the best methods for disseminating information to consumers, family members and other community stakeholders. DSHS is interested in using an approach that is satisfactory to all key stakeholder groups. This brief delay should allow an opportunity to devise such a method.
