Hardin Named Big Spring State Hospital October Volunteer of the Month

BIG SPRING - Carol Hardin is Big Spring State Hospital's October Volunteer of the Month.

Hardin began volunteering for Big Spring State Hospital in 2006, when as an employee of the Access Employment Department she pitched in at The Chalet – the hospital’s resale consignment shop. At first, she came because of the comfortable atmosphere and soon became a regular.

Alley Kat Designs will donate a rose bud vase to Carol for earning the recognition.

Big Spring State Hospital's Community Relations office chooses a Volunteer of the Month from the hospital's approximately 100 volunteers.  Each month, a volunteer who goes above and beyond what is expected of him or her is chosen for the recognition.
