If you would like to host a course, please secure a room large enough for students to sit at tables and have enough room to write in their workbooks. You will also need to provide a LCD Projector including audio and screen, TV/VCR (or a cable which connects the VCR to the LCD Projector allowing the VHS tapes to be shown through the projector), a large whiteboard or flipchart, and a lectern for the instructor. I will bring my own laptop computer as all courses are presented using the PowerPoint format.
The student registration fee includes my travel, lodging, and meals, a student workbook and other hand-out materials, and a course completion certificate from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) which will be mailed to the students within one week of completing the class. If you want to provide morning and afternoon snacks or lunch, that will be your responsibility. You may charge more than my listed registration fee to cover this cost, if you choose. Just le me know when we schedule the course as I publish the registration fee on my website.
Please call or email me to find a date that works for both you and me. I generally need 6-8 weeks lead time to schedule courses. Once a course is scheduled, I will need the following information:
- Street address of where course is to be held
- Building name and room number
- Phone number at course location
- Room capacity
I will also need the name of the contact person, phone number and email address where students may call for more information. Once the date is confirmed and I have the above information, I will email you the student registration form in an attachment and you can make as many copies as you need.
Regarding payment of fees: After the completion of the course, you will be invoiced for payment.
There is a 10-students minimum in order to conduct a course. Once I send you a course confirmation via email and the course is cancelled for any reason, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $300 for the three-day course or $200 for the two-day courses. However, if the course is rescheduled and conducted within six months of the original course date, the cancellation fee will not be charged.
