In accordance with Senate Bill (SB) 831, passed by the 83rd Legislature, the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), in coordination with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and regional education service centers, shall provide and annually update a list of recommended best practice-based programs for implementation in public elementary, junior high, middle, and high schools within the general education setting. To meet these requirements, DSHS and TEA have worked together to release the recommendations below. This content is reviewed and updated annually to maintain compliance with SB 831. The information provided is accurate and the most up-to-date list available.
