Rescue workers will learn and practice high angle techniques such as rappelling, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, Fort Worth Fire Department Training Center, 1000 Calvert, Fort Worth.
Rescue workers will learn about responding to radiological emergency, practice cardiac arrest and neonatal resuscitation and learn about procedures for monitoring heart arrhythmias, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, Fort Worth Convention Center.
Opening general session will feature Dr. John Griswell, medical director of MedStar Emergency Medical Services, speaking on ethics in medicine, 8:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, Fort Worth Convention Center.
Texas EMS Awards Luncheon honoring EMS leaders in 13 categories begins at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, Fort Worth Convention Center. Keynote speaker will be Jack Colley, chief of the Governor's Division of Emergency Management. Photo session to follow luncheon.
