DSHS Health Services Region 4/5 North Zoonosis Control Unit staff will present a seminar specifically for animal control officers, animal control supervisors, sheriffs, sheriff deputies, police officers, veterinarians, veterinary clinic staff and people who deal with animal bites.

Educate attendees about rabies, roles and responsibilities of local rabies control authority, review of state laws, actions to take when a person is bitten by an animal or potentially exposed to rabies, what to do when a dog fights a skunk, how to conduct an investigation.
