The Texas Department of State Health Services and the Lampasas County Health
and Wellness Partnership will begin assessing community health in Lampasas
County Feb. 7.
The Lampasas County Community Health Assessment will focus on prevention and
treatment services for physical health, mental health and substance abuse.
Participants can complete an anonymous survey in English or Spanish online at
www.dshs.state.tx.us/lampasas
through Feb. 21 or may attend one of four community meetings. The meetings will
provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss the health needs of Lampasas
County.
Community meetings will be held as follows:
- Feb. 7, Lampasas, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Lampasas County Courthouse, 501
E. Fourth St.
- Feb. 7, Lometa, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Lometa ISD Cafeteria, 100 N. Eighth St.
- Feb. 8, Kempner, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Kempner Fire Department, 315 Pecan St.
- Feb. 8, Adamsville, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Adamsville Community Center, 174 CR

A report highlighting results of the assessment will be available in
April.
