The Texas Putting Prevention to Work website, also known as Plan Healthy, Texas is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It is a highly interactive site that allows visitors to build a plan to implement systems, policy, and environmental changes to reduce overweight and obesity in Texas communities. The Plan Healthy, Texas website is based on the concept of Healthy, Texas, as a destination, both on the web and on the map. Healthy, Texas is a place where Texans want to be. The website was launched in February 2012 and includes a Spanish-language component.
