Farm to Work is a DSHS employee wellness program that provides employees with the opportunity to receive a fresh basket of local produce delivered to the worksite every week. Each basket contains fresh produce from a local farm,
and employees can order as often or as seldom as they like.

promotes healthy communities through healthy eating.
Worksites interested in learning more about Farm to Work can download the Farm to Work Toolkit (PDF, 2.2 MB) (and also the Farm to Work Toolkit Supplement, PDF, 2.2 MB), which compiles all the tools, sample documents, and other resources that were developed to successfully implement Farm to Work at the Texas Department of State Health Services. Farm to Work is recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Center for Training and Research Translation as a model program for other states to implement.
