| OPP Fee: Recent legislation (HB 2985, 78th regular Session, 2003) requires the Board to assess and collect fees to fund the Office of Patient Protection within the Texas Health Professions Council. Effective January 1, 2004, there is an additional $5.00 fee for each new application for licensure (registration, etc.) and an additional $1.00 fee per year for each license (registration, certificate) renewal. |
| TOL Fee: This additional fee begins on 6/1/04 and is mandated to make Texas Online initial and renewal applications available. Every license holder must pay this additional fee, regardless of whether applying/renewing by mail or online. Licensees with access to the Internet are encouraged to apply for renewal online after June 1, 2004. |
