Purpose

Environmental Services provides direct services to prevent occupational and environmental diseases through identification, evaluation and control of environmental health hazards.

Community Hygiene

Community Hygiene consists of other environmental programs including hazard communication and community right to know programs for hazardous chemicals, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality in public buildings, mold issues including licensing and remediation, environmental lead including childhood lead prevention programs.

Asbestos Programs

Asbestos programs safeguards the health of the state's citizens in public buildings from asbestos through licensing and inspection of those involved in asbestos related activities.
