"Respiratory Care Practitioner" means a person who is permitted or certified to practice respiratory care that includes the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients who have deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiorespiratory system.
A certificate or permit is required to practice in Texas.
