The Board and committees of the board usually meet once each quarter (first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of March, June, September and December). During board meeting weekends all committees of the board generally meet. The Ethics Committee meets on Thursdays. Licensing Standards and Qualifications, Professional Development, and Rules Committees meet on Friday with the full board meeting occurring on Saturday morning. The Ethics Committee usually meets four additional times a year (February, May, August and November) on Fridays in Austin. Occasionally a committee or task force of the board will meet outside the normally scheduled timeframe. Our meetings are always posted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) in the Texas Register, and are always open to the public.
