Proposed Rules
We have received the acknowledgement from the Texas Register Division approving publication of the referenced rules in the May 3, 2013 issue of the Texas Register. The 30-day comment period will begin May 4, 2013. The rules require filing for final adoption prior to the six-month expiration on November 3, 2013.
A preview of the rule publication (in HTML straight text only) is now available for proofing purposes at http://www.sos.state.tx.us/texreg/index.shtml. To access the preview, in the "Points of Interest" box you would "Search the Texas Register," and at the Viewer Screen, enter your rules' title number - 22, chapter number - 741, and rule numbers: 11 to 181 followed by the publication issue date, 05/03/2013; click on "find" and your publication data will be available. As you click on a section in the preview, the "preamble" will be available for review and the rule text of the respective amended section.
The word file provided in this email includes the preamble and rule text of all of the amendments in this rulemaking, and should be compared to the Texas Register publication.
The official May 3, 2013 issue, (PDF version), which reflects the actual page number for respective rule publications, will be available in the "Points of Interest" box at the Secretary of State website http://www.sos.state.tx.us/texreg/index.shtml, on that date.
