Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) is a framework for coordinating multiple systems, services, and supports that are person-centered, self-directed and designed to readily adjust to meet the individual’s needs and chosen pathway to recovery. The system builds upon the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities to take responsibility for their sustain health, wellness, recovery from substance use disorders and improved quality of life.

Houston Recovery Initiative (HRI)

The Houston Recovery Oriented Systems of Care began as a pilot project in May 2010. Meetings are held the third (3rd) Friday of every month from 9-10:30 am at the Houston Recovery Center, 150 N. Chenevert, Houston, TX 77002. Free parking is available in front of the building and across the street.

Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas (formerly Rio Grande Valley Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse) held its ROSC kick-off meeting on July 11, 2011.
