What is WS-FTP (File Sharing)?

The WS-FTP Server Web Transfer Module helps simplify the management of your secure file transfer process when moving and sharing files with the Department of State Health Services. With this software, there is no need to manually install, manage, and maintain file transfer software on everyone's desktop.

This software provides users with a simple file transfer interface that works on any web browser and operating system, allowing authorized people to easily upload or download files on the remote server.

Data Security to Protect Confidentiality

WS-FTP Server Web Transfer Module offers encrypted HTTPS protocol, which completely protects files as they are being transferred from an end user's computer to the Department of State Health Services server.

WS-FTP Server Security Policy and Procedure

• All WS-FTP users must follow the WS-FTP Server Security Policy and Procedure.

• New users must complete a WS-FTP Use and Confidentiality Statement for the organization and a WS-FTP User Information Form (.pdf, 56 KB) for each user and fax them into the TCR.
  
  
• Requests for password resets require that a WS-FTP Use and Confidentiality Statement for the organization and a WS-FTP User Information Form for the user be on file with the TCR.
