The Texas Health Care Information Collection (THCIC) provides training on the submission, correction and certification of facility outpatient /inpatient discharge data.
THCIC provides online training for outpatient/inpatient data collection. The requirements to receive this training on-line are a phone line and a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) enabled computer or high-speed Internet connection. THCIC will not offer onsite training at the Austin headquarters in Austin, Texas until further notice.
Self-directed training on WebClaim and WebCorrect is also available. Please contact THCIC for instructions.
Inpatient (I) and Outpatient (O) are training presentations specific to inpatient or outpatient facilities.

We are only offering online training. In order to participate in the online training you must have access to a high-speed Internet enabled computer and a telephone line. We are currently not offering onsite training. If your facility is an inpatient and outpatient facility, please contact THCICHelp to set up training.
