Training for Inpatient and Outpatient Facilities

The Texas Health Care Information Collection (THCIC) provides training on the submission, correction and certification of facility outpatient /inpatient discharge data.

THCIC provides online training for outpatient/inpatient data collection. The requirements to receive this training on-line are a phone line and a Internet service provider (ISP); broadband connection recommended. THCIC will not offer onsite training at the Austin, Texas headquarters.

Inpatient (I) and Outpatient (O) are training presentations specific to inpatient or outpatient facilities.

Submitter, Training presentation on uploading electronic files into the THCIC system   I O

Reports, Training presentation on downloading reports (FER, Hardcopy, Summary, Data Analysis) these reports are available only on data that is currently in the THCIC system I O

We are only offering online training. In order to participate in the online training you must have access to a Internet service provider (ISP); broadband connection recommended and a telephone line.
