Public Health Promotion Research and Program Development at the University of Texas at Austin and DSHS Tobacco Prevention and Control produce the online newsletter, Highlights in Tobacco Control: Practical Ideas Online. Based on research topics addressed by the Texas Tobacco Prevention Initiative, each issue covers a different theme, such as tobacco media campaigns, enforcement of tobacco laws, youth tobacco prevention, etc. This publication seeks to make research findings relevant and applicable to tobacco prevention advocates at the local and regional levels.
