The Office of the Attorney General provides Acknowledgement of Paternity (AOP) training to all Birth Registrars. This is a statutory requirement. The training must be renewed on an annual basis.

Acknowledgement of Paternity (AOP) training is offered at the Texas Vital Statistics Annual Conference and the Texas Vital Statistics Regional Conferences annually.  The Office of the Attorney General offers multiple trainings throughout the year.
