Objective: Participants will be able to counsel families about the benefits of breastfeeding, assist the mother in managing common breastfeeding problems, make appropriate referrals, teach breastfeeding classes, prepare breastfeeding materials, and support breastfeeding through breastfeeding friendly policies and procedures.
