State Agency Training and Continuing Education Units
Some nutrition education trainings have been approved by the Texas Dietetic Association to offer 1.0 CE unit for RDs and DTRs who participate and answer the questions following a live training. These CEU’s can only be claimed by participants who log in as individuals, answer post-test questions, and stay for the entire presentation (individuals logged in with a group and/or individuals viewing recorded presentations cannot receive CEU’s).
The trainer will give you instructions how to claim your CEU’s at the beginning of each presentation, so it’s important to log in on time. Once the State Agency has verified attendance and participation, certificates will be sent to your LA’s administrative office on a quarterly basis.
If you have any questions about CEUs, please contact Missy Hammer at 512-341-4457.
