Reporting Alleged Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation at Texas Youth Camps - Youth Camp Program

The Health and Human Services Commission Office of Inspector General investigates waste, abuse and fraud in all health and human services programs in the State of Texas. Internal Affairs involves investigations of suspected cases of abuse, neglect and exploitation at Texas Youth Camps.

To make an online report go to the Texas Office of Inspector General - Reporting Waste, Abuse and Fraud Web page.

If you prefer, you may use a report intake form entitled, "Internal Affairs: Texas Youth Camp Waste, Abuse and Fraud Referral Form" and fax it to the Office of the Inspector General, Internal Affairs. To reach Internal Affairs directly call 512-491-4023. You may also reach the Internal Affairs by fax at 512-833-6493.

After receiving an allegation, Internal Affairs will conduct the investigation according to the Texas Administrative Code, Sections 1.201 – 1.207, Investigation of Abuse, Neglect, or Exploitation of Children or Elderly or Disabled Persons.
