The Rev. William Lovell of Dallas is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. Lovell serves as Senior Pastor of Christ Church Carrollton, an evangelical Christian fellowship planted in 2010 in the center of Historic Downtown Carrollton, Texas. Committed to active community service, Lovell has been involved in the Historic Downtown Carrollton Association, Metrocrest Social Services, the American Diabetes Association, the Attending Chaplains Association, the National Association of Professional Chaplains, and the Boy Scouts of America. Prior to ordination, Lovell served in the early 1980s as staff director of the Health, Education & Social Services Committee of the Alaska State House of Representatives. Lovell received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Mississippi in 1982 and his Master of Divinity degree from the Virginia Theological Seminary in 1989. His term will expire February 1, 2017.
