Jacinto P. JuarezJacinto Juarez of Laredo is dean emeritus and instructor of the Laredo Community College Department of Computer Information Systems and Mathematics. He is chair of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service Family and Consumer Science Committee and the City of Laredo Civil Service Commission. He serves as the the Volunteer Director for the Laredo Federal Credit Union and is a member of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service Leadership Advisory Board and the Texas Community College Teachers Association. He is also former Laredo mayor pro-tem, a former Laredo City Council member, and a past member of the Texas Institute for Health Care Quality and Efficiency Board of Directors, Texas Health Information Council, Texas Statewide Health Coordinating Council, White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, and U.S. Census Bureau Race and Ethnic Advisory Committee. Juarez received a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in education from Texas A&M–Kingsville, and a doctorate of education from Texas A&M–Commerce.
