DSHS has used the Partnership for a Drug-Free Texas to generate millions of dollars in advertising and media exposure to encourage Texas youths to make wise choices about alcohol and other drugs. The Texas Partnership reviews public service announcements provided by the national organization, adds the state logo and hot line number and distributes the ads to more than 70 television stations, 1,300 print publications and 600 radio stations around the state.
