2013 Data Submissions - April 1
Dear Texas Cancer Reporters,
Data Submissions - The Texas Cancer Registry is receiving a large number of data submissions released through Web Plus with a very small number of records. Effective immediately, we are asking that you please not release bundles with fewer than 20 records for each submission, unless your total number of records completed for the month is less than 20 (that way there is at least one submission per month for small case load facilities). You may abstract, complete, save and at the completion of the edits process, select “No” when prompted with “Do you want to release it”. When you have abstracted a group of records greater than 20, you may then select “Release Abstracts” tab and click on “Select All”. The amount of time to process these small submissions is the same as it takes for larger submissions. We are making changes to improve our record upload processes, and are asking for your cooperation with this new requirement.
User Login Accounts – Each individual person using Web Plus must have their own assigned User ID and Password login. It is prohibited to use someone else’s User ID and Password information. If you do not have one assigned to you, you can go to our website at http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/tcr/Web-Plus/Web-Plus.aspx to download, complete and submit the necessary forms to obtain your own User ID and Password login.
If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact your regional representative. Thank you for your continued support of the Texas Cancer Registry.
