Web Plus Replaces WS-FTP And SANDCRAB Lite Software - April 16, 2012
Dear Texas Cancer Reporters,
As communicated in our correspondence of April 2, 2012, the TCR is replacing its current registry software with Registry Plus™, a software suite of applications provided by the National Program of Cancer Registries—Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (NPCR—CDC).
The Web Plus software application will replace both WS-FTP and SANDCRAB Lite (SCL) for secure file transfer (e.g., cancer reporter submissions), as well as abstracting cases.
We plan to transition all WS-FTP users within the next two months and SCL users over the next six–nine months. Additional information on exact start dates and webinar training will be sent to all reporters and software vendors over the next few weeks.
There are three webinars that will have identical information. The first 30-minute webinar training on using Web Plus for secure file transfer is planned for Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 2 pm. This webinar will be conducted via “Go To Meeting” and can be viewed from your computer. Please click on the link below for the information on how to view the webinar, as well as obtain the instructions on transferring files using Web Plus. If you cannot attend this first webinar, please stay tuned for the scheduling of the additional two webinars.
