WIC Nutrition Course Registration

  • Privacy Statement

    • Submit a separate form for each person attending. If you have several people going to one or more classes, please email Missy Hammer the list of staff and the class they would like to attend. Please include their credentials, email, and if they need a vegetarian meal or have any food allergies.

    • POLM and LCAPS: You must attend every session both days in order to get continuing education credit or a certificate of attendance for the course. Please be mindful of the ending times and make arrangements to be present for the entire class. Due to the continuing education requirements, if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the first session has begun or leave early for any reason, you will not be awarded partial credit and you will not be allowed to make up any missed sessions.

    • Payment: The registration fee is $60 per person/per class and is due three weeks prior to class. If payment is not received at least 10 days prior to the class, you will be cancelled from the class and any subsequent classes without further notice. Instructions on where to mail payment will be included in the confirmation email or refer to General Information.

    • Refunds for cancellation will be made up to 10 days prior to class. After that date, no refunds will be made.

    • If you fail to notify the registrar in writing of your intent to cancel at least 10 days prior to the class start date or you do not show up for your scheduled class, you will still be held responsible for the registration fee.

    • Babies: Breastfeeding mothers are welcome to bring their nursing babies under the age of 6 months to the class. We do ask for babies to be taken from the room if they become fussy or active. The other attendees and the instructors may find it very difficult to concentrate on the topic being presented. You may wish to bring a sitter with you to care for your baby while you focus on the presentation. We understand your desire to provide your baby with the best nutrition, but also need to respect the education environment. A room will be provided if you need to pump during this time.
