| About Us |
| The Arbovirus Surveillance Program at the Texas Department of State Health Services is designed to detect the presence of arboviruses in mosquitoes prior to the development of human disease. Routine arboviral studies are conducted on mosquitoes from May through November each year, with some flexibility due to patterns of detection. This surveillance time period has been satisfactory for detection of arboviruses in Texas. |
