Vision Statement:

We dedicate our efforts to strive toward elimination of food borne illness in the State of Texas through personal and professional excellence.

Purpose:

Inspections of Retail Food Stores, Retail Food Service Establishments, Mobile Food Vendors and Commissaries. Investigations of Food borne Illnesses and complaint investigations. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, food handler training and other program related training. Assistance provided to cities and counties desiring to establish Local Health Depts.
