Mission Statement:

The mission of Public Health Nursing is the preservation and improvement of the health of the individual, family, and community.

In keeping with this mission, the public health nurse will coordinate services at a higher level, oversee clinical activities, exert a strong leadership role in quality assurance, and transfer knowledge and expertise to others.
