Texas School Immunization Validation Survey
This survey is conducted annually to validate the results of the DSHS Annual Report of Immunization Status in Texas Schools. A random sample of public and private schools is selected for the survey. Local Health Department and Regional Health Department staff review a random sample of immunization records from each selected school. Statewide vaccination coverage levels are available for K-7 students attending public and private schools in Texas. Online data is maintained for five years.
