Hospital Survey Unit Hospital Data Collection and Reporting
Hospital Survey Unit
The Hospital Data Section of the Center for Health Statistics collects and reports hospital facility information and hospital charity care data based on two primary data sources:
- The Annual Survey of Hospitals provides the state's only comprehensive source of information on issues such as uncompensated care, beds and utilization, revenue, Medicare/Medicaid utilization and types of hospital services.
- The Annual Statement of Community Benefits Standard form is used to collect charity care, government-sponsored indigent health care, and other community benefits information.
Documents available on this site are in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format (viewing information).
