2013 Texas Governmental Public Health Nurse Staffing Study (TGPHNSS)

During the summer of 2013, the Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies (TCNWS) at the Department of State Health Services asked all directors of governmental public health agencies in Texas to complete a short survey.  The purpose of the study was to assess the size and effects of the nursing shortage in in Texas governmental public health agencies. Data collected from this survey will help guide stakeholders and legislators in developing policy recommendations and establishing legislative priorities.  TCNWS is the only organization that collects this important information from all governmental public health agencies in Texas.

Please be aware that your survey responses will be strictly confidential.  All findings will be reported in aggregate form only.  Individual agencies will not be identified.
